2010 “Barrel Into Spring” Wine Tasting
Two wine tasting events are scheduled 10 am to 4 pm. Saturday and 10 am to 3 pm Sunday on the following weekends:
April 24 -25, 2010Among the highlights of the event will be exquisitely prepared gourmet meals, ‘behind the scenes’ winery and vineyard tours, tasting wines that are not readily available to the general public, and of course barrel tasting.
May 15 -16, 2010
Tickets cost $65 per person. However, if purchased before Monday March 29, 2010 for the April event or Monday April 19, 2010 for the May event, tickets are only $60 per person.
GVWA wineries offer a 15% discount on wines to event participants during the barrel tastings.
Also scheduled is a Grand Valley winemakers' dinner at Two Rivers Winery on Friday April 23, 2010. The reception starts at 6:30 pm with dinner at 7:00 pm. The price per person is $87.50. Proceeds after expenses will be donated to Hospice & Palliative Care of Western Colorado.
